Our guided hikes take you into the heart of the Talkeetna Mountain wilderness, which is known for it's spectacular scenery and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. After flying into a remote lake by floatplane, you will hike above treeline, crossing open tundra and alpine mountains. While on the hike, you may encounter moose, bear, caribou, sheep, bald eagles, and wolves. Hiking in this remote area will provide you with an unparrelled opportunity to enjoy the solitude of the rugged Alaskan wilderness. Your seasoned guide will lead your group, cook, point out areas of interest, and handle any situation that may arise. You should be prepared for both sunny and rainy days, with temperatures ranging from 40 to 70 degrees.
